Juba II (in Berber language: Yuba win sin or Yuva wis sin) is a Berber king of Mauretania, located in nowadays Algeria. He was born in Hippo (now Annaba) about 52 before J.-C. and died around 23 after christ. His reign began aroune 25 BC, under the Roman tutelage and his capital was Caesarea of Mauritania, present Cherchell.
Young scouts visit on the occasion of the 32nd edition of the Arab Scout Camp with the participation of 19 Arab countries and also the United States, Turkey and New Zealand from August 25 to September 5, represented by 1200 young people. This delegation visited the National Public Museum of Cherchell during the 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31/08/2018.

Training to the struggle against illegal traffic of cultural property.

In the scope of the training cycle on the fight against the illicit traffic of cultural property, for the benefit of the constituted bodies (National Gendarmerie, Naval Forces, National Security and the Algerian Customs), the Public National Museum of Cherchell sheltered the morning of March, 1st, 2018 a graduation ceremony for trainees.

National exhibition of cultural heritage organized by the National Public Museum of Muslim Archeology of Tlemcen from 26 to 28 September 2017. Our museum participated with an exhibition on the Algerian-German campaign of restoration of sculptures of the museum of Cherchell. We also participated with a workshop on the ancient archaeological writings of the museum and the museum's traditional educational activities and play sessions.
